AWS outage in us-east-1 is causing service disruption

AWS us-east-1's latest update has stated that they are seeing "significant signs of recovery" and we're seeing the same in our functions and API endpoints. We'll continue to closely monitor the situation.

There is an ongoing AWS outage that is affecting our services in us-east-1. Even though all our services are hosted in the eu-central-1 region.

There was a issue with a database client configuration that caused an excess of client connections and temporarily stopped new connections to be created.

Some functions of the application, like document uploads and downloads were affected.

This occurred for 7 minutes between 1:21 PM UTC and 1:28 PM UTC and again for 3 minutes between 1:38 PM UTC and 1:41 PM UTC.
